Over a 4-day program, our qualified teachers will take 5 – 6-year-olds through developmentally appropriate concepts of literacy and numeracy to give them a boost of confidence before they start back at school. The 5 – 6 years Intensive program supports our little learners recall and retention over a long summer break.

Our teachers work to build confidence, create a mindset of success and a love of learning in a short space of time. These programs work to support children who have not participated in a Begin Bright School Readiness program before, however, they are also a great recap for Begin Bright School Readiness kids before they go to school.

The literacy component of our program is based on synthetic phonics and gives children an excellent foundation of reading principles.

For mathematics, we focus on forming a solid foundation and understanding of concrete concepts behind the abstract questions. At this year level children can connect names, numerals and quantities for numbers.

Our program also includes craft and hands-on activities to make learning fun!
