Pre Schooler & Early Primary

Giving kids the ABCs & 123s to be the brightest little learners they can be!

Get Smart Learning in association with Begin Bright present our Preschooler and Early Primary aged programs which focus on supporting our youngest learners in the early stages of development and school life. Our programs assist children in building confidence and creating a love of learning, so children can flourish when they start school.

Our Early Years Learning Framework, gives young children a balanced introduction to learning as well as early exposure to maths, literacy, and social skills by engaging with well-known children’s books.

Get Smart also offers our well-known Maths and Literacy programs which are designed to give focused attention to the development of these essential skills. This program is ideal for students who are more confident with their learning and wish to progress their mathematics and literacy fundamentals.

We offer one-on-one tutoring either in home or at our Maroubra Campus.

Get Smart now also offers Get Smart Virtual, online via Zoom. Based on our Maths and Literacy programs, we have developed school readiness lesson plans that parents can now do with their children at home!

Throughout all the Get Smart Programs, children are supported to:

Confidently approach tasks

Confidently approach tasks

Develop a phonemic knowledge of words

Demonstrate an understanding of age-appropriate literacy and numeracy skills

Work in groups

Follow instructions

build independence

Build school readiness skills

And so much more!

Using the Begin Bright Program, Get Smart teaches synthetic phonics in our School Readiness Program so that when a child arrives at the stage of decoding words, the words can be broken into small pieces (e.g., b-ea-ch). This approach gives children more decoding success when they reach words that they cannot identify through context and appearance alone. All of our programs are designed to be enjoyable and give kids the absolute best start to their education.
