Our Tutors are Experienced and Committed to Your Success
Our Senior Years Tutors (Years 7-12) are committed to providing our students with the best possible learning experience. They provide individualised teaching and mentorship, which is tailored to the needs of each student. Our teachers have in-depth knowledge of their subjects, enabling them to offer clear explanations and guidance for a range of topics.
When a child starts tutoring at Get Smart, they complete a values survey, so that we can discover what makes them tick, what they enjoy, and what they don’t. This allows us to help each child based on their values and offer exercises that are appropriate and engaging for them.
Get Smart offers a variety of class types for tutoring. You have the choice of your child learning in an individual or a small group session, ranging from 30 minutes to 60 minutes.
We can assist with understanding the syllabus, working through past papers, improving essay writing skills and developing a methodical approach to successfully complete assessments. Many of our tutors have completed the relevant exams themselves and understand the structure, content and how best to succeed in them.
We provide tailored learning plans and support to help students perform at their best. Our unique program also provides mentorship opportunities with industry professionals, giving students the chance to gain valuable insights into the world of work. With our range of innovative teaching resources, digital tools and academic guidance, we can ensure that every student makes the most out of their high school years.

Now available! In addition to our one-on-one ‘at home’ tutoring and our small group classes, Get Smart Learning is now offering Get Smart Virtual. Get Smart Virtual provides a safe and secure learning platform via a live Zoom session, Get Smart Virtual can provide all your favourite lessons, online, so you never have to miss a class! Our safe and secure, virtual classroom will mean your child can connect with their tutor and attend a live lesson without leaving home.
